nope. I never forget how lucky we are to live in Toronto where there is always something great happening each and every weekend. Especially in the summer. There have been some fantastic House, breaks and Techno DJs coming thru this city as of late. So much so that one has to pick and choose where to spend their cash because you just can't do it all. Not to mention Toronto always has something terrific to offer outside of the EDM environment. Never a shortage of exciting things to do in this city.

My thought's exactly :)

Exactly. Anyone complaining about the talent coming through our city really needs to broaden their tastes. Even prog has been fairly well done. Digweed this week, sasha next, and we had seaman & chable a while ago. Plus we have nick warren coming later on in the summer....There's much more than uplifting trance out there.

anyone else kinda disappointed with the event list so far scheduled for the summer? i'm looking forward to johan gielen in a week. but just comparing to last year (prolly one of the best summers toronto has had for events) it just seems so slimed down. there is some decent talent scheduled to come, but i'd like to see more trance headliners in the list. (for example: wtf happened to above & beyond, they come once and never come back again...damn them :whip: )

I agree with you...last years lineup was def better...Tiesto & Pvd in space of 3 weeks and then Armin on Canada Day...doesn't get better than that...Hopefully now that Tiesto is gracing Toronto, Armin and PVD will soon follow...:)

I seriously don't see the need for whining. :) I've driven up to TO FOUR TIMES since end of March and I'm driving up twice more before end of the month. That's an 8 hour round trip drive folks and why do I do this?

Because TO has a kickin' amazingly diverse scene for music. You have awesome clubs, amazing sound systems, and cheaper ticket prices than most places in the States. And everyone is chill at most events - I'm having the best time clubbing I've ever had this summer in TO. :)

So suck it up yo - enjoy what comes and know that there's always another good DJ headed your way.

Yes, yes! Come and spend your Amerikanski Dollars! :toothless

Seriously though, it's great to have you up here. Hope to make it down to D-town sometimes before the summer's through.
