Me and Eo.S make milkdrop presets.
We have uploaded 700+ of the most modern presets. (all newer then 2 years, all artists that you haven't seen)
We have not yet been represented by having bundled presets, but we will as soon as July 1st rolls ;) around.
If any of you don't know what milkdrop is, it's a free visualization plugin for winamp programmed by Ryan Geiss.

If you don't know where to save the zip, try C/Program Files/Winamp/Winamp.exe/Plugins/Milkdrop. Should be it.

Well, you see, we most likely think about visualization programs a bit differently.
You most likely see them as something finished, some kinda completed unit.
I see programs like this as a blank slate. What CAN it do for me 80 times a second, not what IS it doing.
I've never heard of Beatharness, is it programable? I always open to learning to code new programs!

And we also programed a peice of propritary software that uses pixal shaders, we just have to wait for our ATI contact to get less busy so she can help us make the program accept sound.
(here's some REALLY low rez vidios of our stuff (the frame rate/rez is WAY higher on our box, cuz the program that takes the vidio slows down a bit)

These milkdrop presets are IMHO alot better then alot of the ones currently bundled with Milkdrop. The presets that are currently bundled with winamp haven't been updated in like 2 years or so. There wasn't really alot of real time 3d, custom shapes or waveforms. These presets use alot of these things.

^There are a few new ones in that list, we also changed a few, you can just save over any existing presets.

The guy who wrote is just creating a standalone version, it allows the import of videos,pics etc. I love it and have used it at some TA Parties here.
It can be scripted, it uses Angelcode.
I would recommend it :D |
