....after a long drive, you get out of the car and your knees are aching like a bastard? man I hate that...

Just got back from a 2 and a half hour car journey up to Lincolnshire and back.... was on the road at 6.30am this morning for a Visit at a Supplier, then I got back at 5:40pm - aaaaaagh my knees hurt!

:(
Subey
I don't experience that one.

I have a friend though, that has it so bad that he can't watch movies in a theatre because half way through the movie all he can think about are how much his knees are bothering him.

2.5 hours really isn't much but if you're not used to it I guess it makes sense it hurts.

I used to be in the car about 3 hours daily for a while ...

And add to that my crazy 8 9 hour drive regular weekend trips.

I was never bothered by physical pain when driving but it's finding things to do and take your mind off the time going bad that are most important. That's where music comes in handy; sucked when I had to drive with a car that didn't have a tape/cd player for months cause it got stolen.

Mine didn't even come with a cd player :p But I see what you mean. Music is good to take your mind off other things... like sore backs, panic attacks, and how driving always seems to make me all frapped out  ... I've never been good in vehicles anyhow... still get motion sickness as a passenger. :(
