hey finally got around to listening and like it Jake ;)
Is that really your track in there? It's good!
I really like the mix up until your track actually, not because I didn't like your tune (I did), but because the mix completely changes styles. It goes from a progressive house and a bit trance-ish to high energy trance pretty quickly and with an abrupt little "DJ Source Radio" interuption. It sounds like two different DJs! lol :) Also in the middle of one of the songs in the last half you crank up the BPM weirdly. I don't like that. :p
Well tracklist is good up til that point. Really like starting off with Avalon. Gets you into the groove nicely. I didn't really like that version of Born to Synthesize but it does go well. I REALLY LIKE Chuck Coogan - Voodoo great song that I haven't heard before.
Mixing isn't perfect but it does the job. I think your much better at mixing the type of songs in the first half, the second half seemed like it was just there to apeaze the trance lovers. I dunno. You should do a trance mix AND a proggy mix. Anyway good mix except for the dual personalities :D. |
