i concur. Not to mention that im am more able to be myself. This is why im single. Im waiting for someone who can be in my life and not feel the need to question or try to run my life just like my parents try to. (even though i live on my own). Until that happens though, im quite content being single.

It's not that I'd like to...I honestly don't see myself getting married before 30...unless someone will sweep me off my feet, although I doubt that'll happen |

lol yeah but you're a guy! I dunno maybe i'm just weird but i constantly think about the fact that i don't want to have my kids hit 20 and have a 50 year old mom... That added to the fact that (for women at least) the longer you wait to have children the more likely the chances of having unhealthy babies :( |

I dont know if it has anything to do with being a guy. Maybe... im just looking at it from a practical approach. In Canadian society, marriage general means your life is over. YOu work all day and sleep all night, the end.
If you do anything above and beyond that people raise an eyebrow. I dont know if i will ever be ready for that kind of boring routine. |

It's not just Canada...it's moderm Western life...people don't get married early any more because people are making careers, they are more independent, they have more options, so many are delaying marriage...I for sure will be one of those, you can't make a very successfull career with a family to take care of...it's either one or the other (all about choices)...if you look more to the East (like eastern Europe for ex) many people in their early 20's are getting married (which freaks me out but it's totally natural to them). |

definitely not alone.. although I am forgetting about dating for awhile now and just concentrating more on having fun.. so we'll see what happen... LOL :happy2: |
