Right having problems here folks!
finaly got my 1210's in and im Using the Black Orfoton Concorde Pro Cartridges..
I cant seem to get the deck set up right, ive put on the counter Weight and the extra Auxilary weight as the Concorde carts weigh over 10g.
Ive balance the tone arm as in the instructions so its floating freely then set the dial to 0 but when i then turn the back of the weight to set the stylus pressure (in my case to 4) it only goes as far as 2 and its against the tone arm as far as it goes! .. so as u can imgine its skippin all over the joint...
ive attempted several different calibrations to try and get it right but it either sounds warped and too heavy (to much pressure/weight) or it skips (to litte pressure weight)
any help is appreciated as im totally gutted .. was planning to around all night .. its now 9.20 and im pissed right off!
The setting for My Concorde Cart as far as im away are
18g weight
29mm height (so setting on arm height should be at 6?)
Pressure should be between 3 and 5 on front dial of weight (4 recomended) |
