Sick sickness. Saw Tenaglia at NYC's ULTRA festival two weeks ago. Holy jumpin' jesus were peeps sweatin' to the oldies. BnB is going to be the heavenly brother fish slap to frenzied cerebellum. But... how does a show at the stadium work? Is it a greasy minefield or are there designated places to jump around, relax, and possibly smoke cigarette after cigarette after cigarette after cigarette?

Two other things:

1. Lesbains on Ecstasy tonight at midnight at Le Parking. Vinyl release party with the best live/evil aquariuses in town. $5 (cheap!).
2. Saul Williams is talking at Club Soda tonight at 7:30. Cool beans.
3. Most clubs are going to be smoke-free this winter. Finally I can re-wear clothes without getting emphysema. Word.

Ok, seeing as though B&B is a very gay party, I just want to extend my thanks to the GLBT crowd in MTL. First, your predecessors and some of the cats I still meet are the peeps that first instilled the bass freak out into this town (read: brought the electric scene to MTL back in the 70s? 80s?). Word up to having clairvoyance. Second: thanks for making the scene livable. At stereo when there's a bunch of dudes making out, the hetero kids with bad confidence and a tendency not to dance, to scan the crowd looking for girls to exploit, and to get really aggressive with scrawny, hippy freaks like myself are basically cornered because they can't handle what is to be conceived as a "threat" to their sexuality or, better put, their homophobia is put in check because some dudes are ing built. Third, i like the compliments. Even though I'm straight, hearing some dudes say "hey cutie pie" does wonders for an ego that's usually microscopic and shoddily dressed (that being due to a culture that's so focused on petty imperfections that I still feel really self-conscious when I periodically get the mount vesuvius pimples - like everyone I have ever known does). So, in probably more than 50 words, high-fives to all you peeps that make christians angry.
