Hey. Heres a remix of an older song posted here on TA. Ive worked off the MP3 so theres a few messups I'm still trying to work out, namely the intro. I thought I might share an update of it though. Its storming outside VERY badly so I'm gonna cut this short and post infor later :).

I'm liking those strings but fixing the high frequencies on them a bit more will make them more appealing.

Nice deep mood. Nice plucked melody. I think making the tune brighter with more higher Freqs would probably not fit the overall atmosphere, but I might be wrong.
Nice layering of strings. Maybe a bit heavy reverb and volume of the plucked thing.
Very good layering on this one. I like it. Nice how you subtlely increase the power. |

Hey. Thank you very much for the pointers :). You confirmed just about everything I was thinking myself but was unsure of. My main problem with the highs is that in the original MP3, the highs were very harsh so I had to cut them down a bit. I'm working on adding them back in to make it a bit brighter but was also thinking maybe it sounds better with a darker sound. Well, I had to get up here at 6 ing AM (aka the time hell opens) and have to leave very shortly. I WILL post info about this track later today though :).
