Anyone have a listen to it yet?
First off, I think its' a great album. I'm far more impressed with it than I am with the new Coldplay. Gorillaz used a new producer for this one, the infamous danger mouse from the grey album. The album IMO is a neat mix of hip hop, dark funky house, and folk rock.
Fav. tracks so far are:
-Feel Good Inc: the first single, great pop tune.
-Dirty Harry: likely their next single, great use of kids vocals.
-El Manana: very chilling and pleasent to the ears.
-Fire Coming Out of a Monkey's Head: creative, interesting use of Dennis Hopper lyrics.
-Kids with Guns: great bassline. |

| I've only heard Feel Good Inc. which i thought was decent. I dunno if it's worth my time listening to the whole album, I'm not sure if it's my kind of thing! |

| Feel Good Inc. was an instant hit with me. I really felt the spirit of the original Gorillaz tunes pour out while listening to this one. The music video with the flying windmills is pretty neat, as well. I didn't like the parts where live people were being shown, though. Meh. |

I loved Fire Coming Out Of the Monkey's Head - I wish there was a version without the story. it's so disgustingly catchy :P
the rest of the album is very solid as well. it's much less scattered than their last one (which I still enjoyed, mind you). 8/10 :) |

whole album is really unique
it's weird how feel good inc sounds nothing like the rest of the album tho, i expected the album to be more like that, still good nonetheless |

I had a couple of friends who were disappointed with the first album because it didnt sound anything like Clint Eastwood (another wicked song) but I loved it. I was a big Blur fan tho.
Dmeon Days is absolutely wicked - favs would be
DARE with Shaun Ryder
All Alone with Roots Manuva
Kids With Guns
Last Living Soul
