boston avalon and curfew sux IMO -- im used to at least 4+ hr sets from djs, since im from nyc...but its not just A&B though...ever since i first went up to GUV in March 2003 for my bday, its PWNED a me...i went for a reg. Mark Oliver night...and i left a piece of my soul there...so i always feel like i need to go back at least twice a yr. :D :D most likely i will go up for LOL 2005 this yr...but i absolutely absolutely adore Mark Oliver -- i STILL think hes the most AWESOME resident dj this side of the EARTH...and GUV/Toronto/KoolHaus as well as the Toronto scene has my heart. <3333
right now i am THISCLOSE to going up but i need to find two more NYers willing to take the trip up with me to cut down on car and hotel costs. flying will cost us $400ppl. driving will be around $200. wish me good luck...
i will kick myself in the ass if this ends up not working out...:(:(:( |

| goodluck, i guess us TOTA's take it for granted how good of a scene we have it here. there are always tons of options of great events, plus having a great resident like mark oliver (although on occasion he does get a little freaky for me, but hes usually on his game). can't wait to go back myself. i haven't been to guv since roger sanchez at the end of may, i'm missing it so bad, but i just haven't had time lately. :( |
