personally id go for the techs
theyre certainly better than the stantons and the fact theyre not new shouldnt put u off - a decent set of tt's will last for years and years. |

I've played on stantons, vestax's, gemini's, numarks, audio technica, the list goes on and on and I will always swear by technics.
Of course if you have a spare $20,000 layin around you could purchase a Kuzma Stabi XL Turntable...

wtf is that? it looks like a coffeemachine on steroids
ps. go for technics there's not much to say |

Well, the techs are coming from a dj store, they said they're "servicing it" before they put it up for sale. So they're gonna fix any problems it might have. But of course I'll have to test them out myself before I'm convinced they're in good condition.
I hope they fix up the techs so they're like brand new, I've been looking for ages to find a local store selling used techs. |

hahah that thing is filthy... i hate audiophile rubbish especially when it weighs 77kg...
not exactly something you would lug around in a flightcase :toothless
But yeah the only reason the T.80's exist is for beginners and people who dont wanna spend much on a new deck... The best ive ever heard someone say about 80's is "welll.... there gooood.... for the money" but ultimately you want something thats gonna last you... It kinda s me the fact that stanton even make tables... it just makes people think less of there 100 series big brothers... which i wouldnt trade mine for anything :happy2: |
