I have FL Studio 5 and I transfered an mp3 accapella into the program, and I want to match it with the beat I made. How can I cut the accapella into the parts I want. (I.E. I want to get 2 or 3 words out of the accapella, how do I do that.) |

Ok I just got Sound Forge 6, is there any possible way to cut out the vocals from the song and have it alone? |

Process -> Channel Converter -> [SYS] Vocal Cut -> Invert right channel mix
*To cut vocals out you will need a wav file. |

Ok I did that but it didn't work that much, do I have to align those things in the channel converter? |

Thanks but I'm not trying to cut out the vocals from the song, I'm trying to cut out the beat so I'll just have the accapella. |

Sorry for you mate but it's absolutely impossible to cut the instrumental to keep only the vocal a capella.
It's just because a computer can't intelligently remove the instruments without removing a part of the vocal. It's impossible to do that from a master file because the computer can't separate the frequencies of the vocal from the frequencies of what remains in the track. It's mixed together and impossible to remove what you want. |

it's time somebody breaks in to the house of dave dresden and steal his computer data, then we can finally remix as the rush comes |
