| im going tomorrow to the see the moto gp in barcelona. never been to a formula 1 race but hope to go one day sounds amazing even though i probably wont see . those facts were pretty amazing. |

I've been a huge fan of F1 since I first went to the Adelaide GP back in 94. They are ear piecingly loud, and if you catch them in a section doing 300kmh+, you'll be impressed. But this one fact sounds like bull to me:

0 to 100-120ish to 0 in four seconds more likely.
Second I've never been able to find proven 1/4 mile times for F1 cars. Apparntly they can do it in around 8-9 seconds?
And as much as the performance of F1 cars used to impresse me, nothing will impress and scare me more then seeing and hearing a top fuel dragster.
0-330mh in 4.5 seconds
0-60mph in 1/2 a second
These things are so ing loud and fast that if you stand right at the end of the 1/4mile, the air/sound pressure is strong enough to knock you off your feet:nervous: Wanna be impressed? Go see a top fuel dragster. Not only is it more impressive, but it's cheaper :) |

If anyone it will be Senna, but you still think the lame ass michael S dude is so great. All Michael had was a great car and some talent. Senna had less technology, and endless talent.
Senna is the greatest F1 driver of all time. F1 is getting boring, too many rules and regulations. Let the drivers race their race not limit what they can do. Cut back all the downforce so their driving can shine, and bring back the stick shift instead of that damn paddle shifter.
They have also done away with most all of the great tracks. They have all been modified to get rid of the really sharp corners, and the "you really need talent here" sections. Making it "safer." Bah. |

| Agree with the post above. Senna was pure talent, Michael won half of his championshipsby chrashing into his rivals and running them off the track, and the other ones purely becouse of the superiority of his F1 car. Oh and the fact that his team buddys contract says that he must not be faster thatn michel under any circumstances also helps alot. |
