I hope this movie bombs to prove that people just don't give a crap about these two hollywood stars and their stupid personal lives.
It's being so hyped as the summer blockbuster, and it's just more contrived hollywood crap.
Sorry to all the Brad and Angelina fans. |
Yeah really.....This movie is nothing but overwrought acting and Hollywood sensationalism. I think this movie is riding on the coattails of allegedly being the movie that contributed to breaking up the marriage between Brad Pitt and Jennifer Anniston.
I haven't even seen the movie and I can already guess the contrived ending....They join forces and fight evil together.
How mind boggling.
When are people going to stop wasting their money on names and labels and put more money into the pockets of the small filmmakers?! The ones that deserve to be heard and have the money in their pockets because Hollywood won't give them the time of day. So many people watch movies based on big names and big advertising, and end up sitting through some bastardized piece of crap instead of watching something more genuine that didn't fall victim to Hollywood propaganda. |

And some people need to realize that this is not how "the world" works ;)...
most of those big name actors and film makers today were starving artists at some point...people like hollywood and they will continue paying huge sums of money for it...
*edit*
and quite honestly at the end of a long hard work-week the last thing I want to do is sit through some independent film which i have to think about and someone decided that it's "art"...I just want to relax, be entertained, catch some eye candy and not think about it too much...hollywood is perfect for that :happy2: |

| looks like a fairly typical holywood romp. I was going to go see it on Sunday, then Monday, but was still not...um...in a normal state of mind to say the least, so it'll wait till next week. |

It is very typical no doubt :)...some scenes are just funny cuase they make no logical sense whatsoever...but at least they didn't push it too far  |

| hehe, well I'm sure that at the least it's very good mindless entertainment. The gf has this obsession with Angelina Jolie, so it's all good from where I'm standing :D |

Hahaha...i only know one girl that doesn't have an obsession with Angelina Jolie...just goes to show you that most girls secretly wantt o be sexualy open and sluts (ooops did I say that?)...just look how many girls love Samantha from Sex & The City... ;)
Either way if you've seen True Lies then it's kind of the same idea (not plot wise though) - fun comedy/action type flick |
