at work: megabytes
at home the best I have gotten is about 240kilobytes :( |

my connection is 5,1mbit/s in download and about 980kbp/s in upload...which is pretty good for a cable connection :) |

Maybe I should clarify. I meant 1 MegaByte (MB/s) per second. Not Megabit (Mbit/s). That's a difference of x8. |

those are some sweet numbers guys ...
when i was living on campus, they had fiber optics, so things were moving pretty fast .. i think the fastest i downloaded was in the 3 MB range .. never reached 5 MB ... that was around the year 2000 ...
then again, during the ol' napster days ( :nervous: :nervous: ) .. i remember dl from 4 seperate people at 100 Kb/s each .. is that good ? |

On Scott's (Scottaculous) server I average about 3.9 MB/sec downloads, and when I upload it doesn't give me the MB/sec bitrate but I clock in at about 24 mbps.
