A very good site. Off the wall, cynical humour about the rave scene, by someone who seems to be a very jaded raver. One word can sum it up: SNARKY. :D |

Haha, that was pretty funny :)

Candy raver
Probably the most lovable and, simultaneously, most annoying kind of raver you will ever meet.
Candy ravers are not hard to find. They are characterized best by their brightly lit furry/fuzzy phat pants, oodles and oodles of bracelets and necklaces, and enough pre-school paraphernalia to be the envy of any 4-year old. They are generally nice, fun people, with childlike enthusiasm, but after awhile can be irritating (see Etard). Prolonged exposure to them is thus not recommended.

Even "Phat Pants" is featured on the list.

Hehe, doesn't Blik have a copyright on penguins, Alien? :D
Happy hardcore
House music on laughing gas. (see House. Do not see Gabber, Hardcore)
Headliner
Someone who plays someone elses music.
PLUR
The acronym of rave culture, PLUR has probably become the most meaningless, exploited, over-promoted, over-hyped, ill-appreciated, mismanaged, misunderstood, idealistically naive ideology yet produced by Western Civilization.
So true. |

Actually, Vladimir was mine from the beginning. Blik adopted him. It's nothing more but fair to at least share him. |

"It's not something I listen to myself, but it's not like I'm really bothered by it because, if anything, it helps introduce the things that I'm doing to people who probably wouldn't notice them otherwise. Trance has that easily digestible format that people from the suburbs or whatever can understand, and I think that maybe after listening to trance and other more commercial forms of music, they might start to appreciate other forms of electronic music like house and techno. It's basically a good thing. Trance is a gateway music (laughs)."
