Dress Code: No access from the Main Room until late in the night. Doors from 10pm-4am
The crowd was stylin' and profilin'. Good looking crowd. I thought there was going to be a more strict dress code but there were some people wearing jeans and hats. I guess as long as they look stylish you should be ok.

I think we all have to CALM DOWN and have a good party.
What I heard (in terms of capacity problems), they will also have The Drink open playing the same tunes as The Skybar once Lala starts spinning.
I am going to go to the complex pretty early, ask around with the bouncers, which door to go into to have the most freedom of movement (my guess it doesn't matter because of the set times). I would rather go into The Drink not to have to deal with the packed Guv scum but boys apperently can't get into The Drink as easily as girls. If we go through the Guv, let's hang out near the stairs to keep an eye out for when people are allowed to go up.
Oh and text messaging is our friend!
Let's just have a good party and not worry about the logisitics right now. :) |

I've never had a problem getting in to the Drink with what I wear, so hints for the guys wanting in there: Non-ripped, non-ty looking jeans, polo or dress shirt, and those fasionable sneaker type things they sell at like Aldo or Transit...etc etc. I don't know what they're called, but as long as they're not runners.
My only concern is will they let us in the Drink entrance at 3-4am, or should I just get there normal times (11ish) |

| The Drink is getting a bit more rigorous with it's enforcement of style code. Don't wear any type of athletic wear (no sneakers, running shoes etc...). Designer hats are acceptable, personally I wear a dress shirt and dress pants w/ a nice pair of rockports (rockports are wicked they look snazzy and are damn comfortable, Hugo Boss does not support dancing well). Fancy jeans and designer shirts are also acceptable. Think Yorkville and Theatre District residents. Also the crowd as a whole I've noticed (especially the women) are top quality, nothing beats the "view" from Skybar b4 they let the rest of the club in. The doors to The Drink close @ 1am so be punctual. NO Track suits, ripped jeans or anything of the like, no backpacks etc... If you want to see Lawler I suggest entering through The Drink cuz by 4 am when they let everyone else up Skybar is usually packed. Diesel shoes are awesome as well, comfy and cool looking. |

| I doubt I would get into the Drink. I have Diesel shoes, but I refuse to wear a polo or dress shirt. Too uncomfortable for booty shaking. On top of that, I'm only 19. |

EDIT: For the record, I think having a bit of class/ dressing up is all fine and dandy. But the idea of not wearing trainers during Sasha's drug-ie is a real turn off. |

Buddy I don't know about you but I'm a dancing fiend and tailored dress shirts are damn sexy, plus monogrammed french cuffs are classy to the max. Things get too hot just roll up the sleeves. Not to mention the patterns/colours/designs/collar types/cuff types/etc... make for some very unique looks. I've got a red patterned shirt with mandarin collar and french cuffs that is big PIMPIN (response to highroller)
The drink opens it's doors to the guv @ 4am, but the doors to get into the drink from the outside close @ 1am.
I wear dress shoes or sandals 99% of the time and everything but the uber designer ones are mega comfortable. Check out the rockport store at the Eaton's centre I'm sure you'll find something you like. |
