track re-done and accepted by record company! (pg. 6)

The kind of reactions you're gonna get have nothing to do with the track itself, it's all in the context of how you present it. Claiming some crap about labels isn't really gonna impress anyone here, it'll just set them up to be dissapointed. Just look at the almighty LORD OF BASS, greek's #1 hardstyle composer/producer!!!1111oneoneone If he had presented himself like everyone else he wouldn't have been flamed. Yes his track wasn't all that great, but instead he would've received constructive criticism and support from everyone here. And the whole "christian label" thing just adds to it, because we're all used to christian labels spewing all over the place, and it's artists and company having "holier-than-thou" inflated egos about it.

Just out of curiosity.... are there actually any MAJOR christian trance labels out there, with some quality choonage to boot? 'Cause I wouldn't know.

It was just running through my head as I was reading through all these posts.

not that i would know of... www.tastyfresh.com is like a Christian TA... so maybe they would be the people to ask. They have some interesting topics I've never seen before.. like DJ led worship... If anyone here has every been to something like that, mind posting a review? I've been to band-led worship churchs by friend's invitations, but I thought it was very boring, and it was an odd site to see... there was this one girl that kept saying Amen every 2 seconds and going up infront of the church making a scene.

I was reading some of the posts and they said that supposedly it's a DJ playing trance and techno but a 3rd CD deck has sermon peices mixed in, or maybe a live preacher over the music... and then there were ones of some crap ones of DJs mixing in lame Christian pop music into their trance sets... (now those I will make sure not to go!) Man I can't stand the Christian pop radio for 2 seconds... it's some rediculously crap music and most to all of them have the same lyrics... "Let every tribe and toungue confess his name" it's a heapload of crap if you ask me.

Just the whole idea of seperating the rave culture to Christianize kind of works me up... raves and EDM were meant to bring people together not to seperate them based on religious beliefs. You have to at least give it to Digital Aura and Adambomb for posting here... That would be something unlikely for any Christian guy to do ("mingle with the outsiders omg god's gonna fire me [literally]") and Christian labels should be concerned more about quality overso if their artists are Jesus followers or not ("oh but that's being a sellout.. we're supposed to be sold out for jesus").. get a life.. seriously.. and that's why Christians are by far the most uninteresting people to be around with (there are a few exceptions though, as with everything) but it's about time you guys start thinking for yourselves. They make all these blind decisions, claiming it was a revelation or some sort of divine inspiration. Like my friend who moved to Venezuela because God told him to, he moved there right before Chavez got in there and now he's screwed... and wished he woulda stayed. I'm not doubting that there could be divine inspirations, but Christians keep claiming to get them all the time. As if God always speaks to you whenever you're in the toilet with your newspaper.

Hey. Can we please let this thread die. People have vented themselves enough. We all understand how the people here on TA stand on this track. My own personal opinion of the track isnt too high but hey, avoid the damn thread then. I mean ... talk about beating the hell out of a dead horse then driving over it with a tank. Leave the poor guy alone.

Cheers,
Zac

lol just trying to answer Nullistic's question... not trying to beat the guy up.. It's up to the guy who started the thread or the moderater to close this thread... I mean.. if you want me to stop posting I will, but that won't stop others from posting.
IDarkISwordI
Hey. I wasnt meaning you specificly. The entire atmosphere throughout the entire thread has been bitching. Minus a very few posts, everyone has been bitching and whining about this guy being too cocky with his thread titles. If you didnt like the track, atleast be nice about it people. I mean come on. We should be a critical community but also we should be a supportive community. I'm all for posts that point out why the song 'sucks' or it 'bad' and definantly pointing out points about the song that are good but comments that do nothing to help him out are just pointless. I'm not a moderator and if I was one, I wouldnt shut this post down but I'm a little dissappointed at the lack of actual reviews in this thread. Go ahead, post away but lets think more about stuff that helps him out and stuff that isnt so harsh against him.

Cheers,
Zac

RELIABILITY? wtf...

w/e, this is my last post too, enough time wasted... i could have spent my time better getting drunk and high and being unreliable and immoral like all other non-christians.

Okay now you really don't know what you're talking about. So you're saying that Christians are the only people you can depend on? Dude, it's time to stop living in your Christian box and meeting people outside of your own religion.

My dad's pastor (from a REAL christian church) is the most unreliable guy on the planet. He says he's going to see a particular family, then always asks for a raincheck... says he's gonna be here for that.. then can't make it.

It also shows how much you know about DJing in general. I don't know what clubs you've been going to, but THERE ARE NO DRUNK DJS ALLOWED PERIOD!! If a club owner finds out a DJ was drunk or high and really ed up the set, he's not playing there anymore!
Nullistic
Yeah, I don't know where you heard that misleading information from. I've never heard of a DJ playing sets DRUNK. Reliability and morality? Now you're being bias, and subtly hinting that the christian way is unlike no other. *rolls eyes* Now I see how religion can distort the perception of life around you, that's not good.

You need to quit while you're ahead before people start flaming on you more by these things you come up with.
