Amazing performance by Sean as always.

Happy birthday and congratulations on all of your current and future success.

Unfortunately our a/c unit was not working and we would like to apologize to our friends for the heat.

We discovered this week that the control panel of our system had to be replaced, but as this must be ordered from the manufacturer it could not be delivered on time for this event.

We attempted to fix the problem by drastically increasing ventilation, but with the party we had last night, at our peak hours it wasn't enough.

Please know that the problem will be fixed this week, ready and cooler for next weekend.

Thanks to everyone who stuck it out and made a great night.

I'm soaked and loving it.

Thank you to Sean and everyone who feels the same way :)

thnx.

Would have loved to come out though the A/C thing is definitely a ruiner for me (I don't fair well in overly heated venues). I'd love to hear more comments about the set Sean threw down though. Sorry I couldn't come out but work b4 play and all that.

Cheers

wish i was knowledgeable enough of this stuff to be able to pick out the tracks etc... hopefully floorwhore or somebody else on here who was around can follow up (i bet at least a few people from TA were around - always a pleasure seeing some people who really kill up the dancefloor in style unlike my sorryassed self haha)

man I really wanna know the name of some track that was playing just before I left about 7-ish

have a nice evening, y'all

Its been quite a while since i've done a party review, but i just had to for this one. The party itself was tough to get into, and with the heat, many people either left early or just chilled on the patio all night. But what Sean did behind the decks for just over 7 hours, has to be given praise. I've seen all of his extended sets, and maybe only missed a handful of his opening sets.... i cant remember hearing a better set than lastnight.

The early stages of the night was very slow. With the dancefloor being half empty, it gave Sean reason to do things more mellow, and also experiment with some slower tempo and beautiful melodies. He also reached back into his crates for some of his older material (which i loved), and brought back that sound we have all become accustomed to hearing from Sean since the beginning of his residency.

After taking some time out on the patio to cool off, i hit the main room around 4am to hear the 'new' Sean. A lot of the techy/hard stuff with a lot of electro influence. At this point i was dead tired (along with everyone else), but the music was so good, the heat was non existant at times.Totally slaughtered the dancefloor with Stevie and the rest of the regulars rockin it out. The music was relentless during peak hours - and at some point (around 6:30??) Sean called me up to the booth to let me know of his new track he was about to drop. This is a pure gem. Very melodic, sexy vocals, with a thick bouncy baseline that just comes together flawlessly. This track is vintage Miller. I popped back out on the dancefloor for the remainder of the set which hit the funky side, and winded down with slow moving melodies that brought the night to a close.

Happy B-day Sean, all the best to you with your upcoming tour. If this was any indication as to how you will play with Steve, you are going to blow many people away. Until next time......

This was quite frankly the best set I've heard live this year. Heat was a little much but it kinda added to the whole dirty, sexy feel of Seans style. Was there from start to finish and didn't stop moving once, music wise this one goes down in the books for one to remember. It was great seeing you out again Feems, and yeah...we'll destroy any floor they put in front of us! Another wicked night throwing it down with you Jeff, thanks for the hook up again.

Happy Birthday Sean and try to remember you're only 'opening' for Lawler....so don't steal the show too many times!!!

The only complaint for the night is that apparently there is a water shortage in Toronto, cause no one seemed to shower last night..:whip: ...what's wrong with you people??!!??...nothing like getting into the groove to have the lovely aroma of cabbage and throw up lingering in the air

Wow. Sounds like an amazing night - I wouldn't expect anything else from Mr. Miller.

Hey guys, Thanks again for the kind words and birthday wishes:)

Saturday was bouncing and besides the heat factor (which was hotttttt hot hot) the night was rocking!

I’m looking forward to the next one which I’ll post up here once I’ve picked the date.

Peace
