Made a set with some tunes that reminds me of the summer. I little mix with older and newer tracks. Fast server!

Absolutely love this mix tricky! :D
The intro song is great, it kinda reminds me of the Final Fantasy tune a bit. ;)
I can tell you put quite a bit of time into the tracklist, absolutely love Moya Brennan - Show Me (Schiller Remix). Never heard that tune before, but it's an absolutely haunting remix of a great vocal. Highlight of the mix! Other great choices are Solarcoaster and Rapture. :eyes: Great inclusions man. Track order is very, very good. The only one I didn't really like was Rui Da Silva - Touch Me, I've just never been a big fan of that tune, although you mix it in very well, I was especially impressed with the transition into Show Me.
Mixing is spot on. A few little itty bitty flaws that I wouldn't have noticed 3 months ago as I've become very picky about it. Levels are pretty good too, although some of the tunes seem like lower quality mp3s, maybe 160kbps. As for the BPM, ~135 is perfect for the tunes you play. I prefer a slower BPM, but not for these types of tunes. No problem there. What did you use to mix this? I'm guessing something like Traktor.
Over all an awesome mix, the definative summer mix :D. This will get a lot of play by me. I especially like the inclusion of the older tunes. I like that you had a purpose for this mix and you achieved it very well, good work.

Great summer mix! Love how you incorporated new and old, I think that's a great quality to have in sets. A mix is all about the music and not the musics release date :) Big thumbs up!

| Loved every minute of it. The only flaw I can find in the mixing is that the kicks sound a bit off during the trans between southern sun and seven cities. I listened again on speakers and couldn't hear it. Seems like it's only audible on my headphones. |

Yeah, im in love with that track, so sweet. Everytime i hear it i picture the waves rolling in on the beach breeze an early morning somewhere in the caribbean :)
Touch me is a track you either love or hate. I've been in love with it since i first heard it. I think it's amazing! But you cant please everyone with a tracklist of your choice :) But apart from Touch me i've seen to done a quite good job. I've received great feedback on the tracklist, probably the best of all mixes iv'e done so far and thats whats the trickiest part.
But its always easier to mix new and older tracks, you have a better chance of making peoples toptracks in your mixes instead of your just going with the newest hottest tracks. Mixes with only new tracks tends to have just 35-50% hot tracks and the rest are so-so.
Not Traktor, but MixMeister. Like it more thank Traktor altough it been a few years since i last tried Traktor :)
Im glad i succeeded my mission. I wanted the mix to breathe summer! I was trying to make a mix somewhere in between a trancy mix and a more laidback isos. Since most of theese tracks totally is summer, and older - people like me, hopefully have good memories with theese tracks that also reminds them of the summmer :)
And for that last track, Silent Waves just was introduced to me when the summer came here up in Sweden. So im creating memories for it now! Thanks for the great feedback man! :D

Yeah, i was thinkig the same thing. Although its very nice to play the latest and hopefully something new to people its easier to please them by playing older wellknown tracks :)
Summer for me is all about memories, that was what i wanted people to feel when they listen to it. Remember their best summer memories :)
That remix of uranium waters is excellent! It's not new though, actually from 2003 but only went out as a promo vinyl and cd. Dunno why though because its a stunning remix! |

Glad you liked it mate! :D Yeah, i noticed that aswell. Did this mix on my speakers and when i listned to it a day later on my headphones i noticed the tiny offbeat. But what the heck :) |
