Is there a way to transfer music from iPod to computer if the music on iPod was previously transfered from computer as music, not as files to portable HDD?

| Should be able to. WinXP recognizes my iPod as a mobile hard drive device in Windows Explorer, so just go into there and copy-paste. |

| i actually lost a load of music in my computer. Luckily i had it on my ipod and was able to get it back thanks to this |

Already tryed that.
Where the music is supposedly located (folder size is around 17 Gb), there's a bunch of files with weird names.
I suppose that's music, but probably specially converted to be recognized by iPod. Or something.

Thanks, I'll check that out.
After the transfer from iPod to computer, is music the same as it used to be before the transfer from computer to iPod (quality, tags and such)?

yeah i deleted my with itunes too..accidentally...
uhmm yeah, if you transfered them in full quality to your ipod they will be the same once you transfer them back. The tags dont change. Its a full recovery..Anapod Explorer. |

Yeah, I just downloaded and installed it.
I'm just worried, it says that the trial version doesn't have the file transfer option, just some drag and drop.
Who cares, I'm ready to give $25 for full version.
I sold 5500 forum gold on another forum for $150 (€120) few days ago. :thepirate |
