i know this is gonna sound like an awful question to all u clued up out there, but what is the definition of progressive trance / house
im under the impression that its jus a constant beat with no breakdowns or major changes in beats?? |

| No I don't think it's the same, continuous beat, at all. I just got Sasha + Digweed - Northern Exposure Vol 2 East Coast today, and I'd say that is prog trance/house/breakbeat. Much like prog rock (Yes/Genesis/King Crimson/Rush) I think prog electronica takes different time sigs and elements and combines them in an unlikely way. It's not all straight 4/4. I'm fairly new to electronica, so take what I say with a grain of salt. |

Ive never heard a progressive house/trance/breaks track in any other than 4/4... |
