| Yes, I definitely agree! However, he did headline here already back in March at Sound Bar but unfortunately I didn't make it because it was right before WMC. He needs to come back here soon though after hearing him on Friday. Everyone I've talked to or read reviews about him absolutely loved him as well! |

Nosmo / Porter / Cusick all kind of tagged / headlined together. My friend was the opening DJ and I got to party with that crew, they're definitely wild. I also have great stories of partying with Porter when he spun a gig @ Angelic.

I do indeed mean the Angelic Brewery.
, that was a long time ago. I think it must've been 2002. If you ever knew Todd Richmann, that's how Porter got convinced to come play in Madison. He played for a very decent price but the crowd left quite a bit to be desired. The promotion must've been bad or, more likely, Porter couldn't draw a good crowd in the middle of Wisconsin :p I was hanging out with him for like 30-45 minutes watching him mix and talk to him about some of his productions and such. He played Definite Form well before it saw release - I was trying to con a copy of it on CD-R from him :p He's a very cool guy.
I don't go to Angelic anymore. I used to go there every Thursday / Saturday but it really isn't my scene anymore. |

I wish I saw more guys pull the tag team type of headlining gig, it's awesome to see two or three solid DJ's all working to top each other... Sometimes it doesn't work, but if you've got two or three guys who can really find their groove together, it makes for an awesome night...
And damn... Angelic Brewery... I wish I had been smart enough to know about Porter back then... even if that place does suck, it'd still be nice to have such a solid DJ nearby... |
