Ferry Corsten TA Meet-up, Chicago. 6/18

Alright we all know he's coming.
My roommate and I and Kael (wee-T I believe, sorry bro I forgot your TA name)... but anyway we're gonna meet-up at a bar before the show, we don't really know which one yet but that's why I started this thread.
If anyone else wants to meet-up with us and have a specific bar in mind throw out some ideas in this thread and we'll get it all together by saturday.
If you don't come out - hope to at least see everyone at the show later on.

We are meeting at Kazbar, relatively earlier - plan on being there around 10ish or so gives us a good hour or two to just chill out.
We're gonna meet right up the stairs to Kazbar directly to the left on the entrance (once up the stairs) there are tables and such get in there.
Post what you're wearing (if you know beforehand) so it's easier to find you people. I'll post probably friday or sat during the day what i'm wearing and a pic of me and my boy.
Alright, any questions or concerns you know what to do. |

i think im going to be out of town for this one too, but this should be good. he was pretty good on new years day. i think most of the time the meetups are at kazbar(sp?). |

i think there's gonna be a mini TA meetup in Milwaukee before we drive down (Rob - i think we're gonna just do the pizza and chillin' out thing again), but i'd be game for meeting up in Chicago as well... as long as it's not @ Kazbar. that place gets too crowded and loud and it's hard to find people. then again, since i'm not from Chicago, i'm not really sure what to suggest as an alternative. i'd say keep it somewhere walking distance from Vision.
oh, and this time i am dragging out my boyfriend and his coworker who is a TA/Vision virgin! :D |

Kazbar huh??? never heard of it... what I'm gonna do is look around and do some asking and hopefully have a place picked out by wed. so that should give everyone time to plan it our proper.
so far i just want something with no admission and cheaper drinks, cuz vision prices are jacked up - 4.75 a beer is kinda wack but whatever.
alright who else wants to come??? |

Kazbar is located inside the House of Blues hotel (about 3 or 4 blocks away from Vision on Dearborn). it's a cool place but last time there was a TA meetup, Rob and i couldn't find anyone and it was super loud and really packed in there.

I think maybe Kazbar was so bad just b/c of the real bad pop punk band... the main choons weren't so bad...
If we did choose to do Kazbar again though, I say we meet right in the front of the stairs heading up to the bar, or in the front foyer area right when you walk in, there's nice tables and couches and such...
Once we figure where to meet up, on Saturday I'll post my attire for the evening, if folks make it, pay attention... Last time I posted that I was going to be rocking the GDJB shirt, and like three posts later there was the infamous (Paraphrase, not direct quote):
"I thought I saw Lucid walk in with some Dude Friend wearing a GDJB shirt..."

Hehehe... the Dude/Friend post always gets me... But in any event, yeah, let's do the meetup...

| I would definitely be up for a TA meet-up at kazbar, last time I was there (for AvB I think, might have been Holden though?) we couldn't find anyone, so we just walked around for half hour and then went to Vision. But I would definitely be interested in doing it for Corsten. |
