So I got Myself a New Laptop and........

| ... and it has a Double Layer DVD burner. It's a Sony VGNS 460. So allright, I want to burn movies and all that stuff, ya know.. back them up from the originals. My friend came today and we tried Nero and DVD shrink ( which surprisingly works in pair with Nero's burning utility ).. but it doesn't work. At first it said the DVD-R was an illegal disc.. wwe installed the Rights Software and all that BS.. it was burning allright until it got to 99% done, and it said Couldnt finish Burning DVD.. having that same thing come up in the third try. Ive been throwing some empty DVD-R's because of that.. so since I figured there's a bunch of more knowledgeable people, perhaps experts at this burning deal that could give me some guidance, or that have the same Laptop ( or own a Sony Laptop that know the drill ).. anyone that could please help out would b kewl... Thanx in advance guys! In any case I was trying to backup my Fatboy Slim @ Brighton Beach Movie.. |

| did u try dvd+r format?? cause the vast majority of the drives that comes pre-installed with new computers won't recognize the dvd-r format.. |
