I drive a jacked up Jeep... whenever one of those asses in a Civic (or any other import 4 banger) pulls up behind me with those ultra white lights I let them pass me. Then I throw on both of my 2 million candle power driving lights.... the whole car will light up as if it were daylight.... driver freaks out because he has just been blinded.... good times! |

hell yeh. that's awesome.
i used to carry an air horn in my car to return teh ghey little tootle-horns on those civics and whatnot. that ed em up a few times. |

| i thought those lights were supposed to be better for night vision? my ex has them on his car but they came like that..they almost look blue when u first turn them on...but i mean u can REALLY see good at night with those. |

lols not for nothing but Subaru's WRX STi is an "impressive" 4 banger - and equally impressive mitsu evo but i'm not a large fan of mitsu putting out a street legal "rally inspired" vehicle when subaru has been doing it for a while now. |

I wasn't making any judgement about the car... just the asswipe who put in the ultra whites. I do agree, however, that both the WRXSTI and the Evo are nice rides. |

ok, if kid nyce doesn't beat me to this...
there are HIDs which are the REAL xenon gas headlights that you see on a lot of luxury/foreign cars (BMW, Acura, Lexus, etc) that are a helluva lot brighter than standard headlights. you can tell the difference immediately when you turn them on because they're super bright and it appears that it takes a few seconds for them to "warm up" to the full brightness.
then there are the "xenon HID-style" white/blue lights that you can buy for $30 at your local auto parts store that all the kids put on their '93 Honda Civics. these are the ones that are blue/purple and pretty annoying looking.
to install real HID headlights on a car that doesn't come stock with them is pretty expensive, i know it was about $2000 for my old car. so jamie, you said your ex's car had them and they came with them, i'm guessing he had the real HIDs and not the crappy fake ones. |

i drive an '87 celica, with those pop-up head lights.. those are sweet... and easy accesible, im gonna put in some XENON lights, and get me some clear umm... windows(? lol) for them... so when i pull them up, nobody will be able to see ... |
