Battery 2 problem
View this Thread in Original format
Djack
Hi everybody.
just got some problems with my battery 2.
It's only playing some 6 or 8 samples and CPU usage raises to 90%.
Somebody who got that too? Or are there relevant updates online handling that?

Edit: At the start everything is running well, but then it starts only playing every third kick or something!?

Edit2: When I delete two HH/Snare parts, it keeps playing right again.

Edit3: When there's some kind of build up with lots of keys in a row, it cuts out every other sample, you just hear that one sample, everything else is gone. Without any effect or something used even inside battery.

It's not battery, it's your computer ... perhaps you don't have enough memory (RAM)

no, its battery. when I turn it off, cpu usage goes back to 15. its just battery. And 1 GB Ram should be enough for battery.

There is the latest patch fix on NI's site.
However, I would uninstall and reinstall it again and change the sound directy path to a hard drive (if you have another) seperate to the application directory.

I have had no problems on my pc and I am working off 1 gig ram too.

yeah I'll do that. Re-install it and then I'll see if there are proper updates available. but its a bit surprising that there are still these problems, because I got it only 2 weeks ago from NI online-shop

(by the way: it cant be a problem if there's battery 1 still installed?)

I didnt try it as standalone, because then I have to reinstall it anyway, don't I?
Ill try to fix it on the weekend, but it's kind of a really weird error ...
otherwise the NI guys should know more.
