yeh, you can go to the docks on the 28th and see 6-7 str8 hours of just musik, and not all the hocus pocus bull. this TIC is silly and out of hand, but ive explained this before. i'll take the docks, and leave the concert to all the posers.

heres a comment from an older thread:
i think the whole concert thing is totally cheesy and incongruent to the edm scene. he plays CLUB musik, as in musik to be played IN CLUBS, or outdoor festivals on occassion. i mean for christ sakes TIC2 was totally over the top with him hanging out a box, and disappearing below the stage. tijs your a ing dj not david copperfield. i think his management team has totally overfed his ego and in turn he is alienateing his real fans by trying to become a pop icon on the level of britney spears. tijs look at oakie and see what you are becoming, his career took a huge nosedive after he decided to go mainstream and got away from being a "DJ"!!, and basically thought he transcended the musik, and you are well on your way doing the same. everybody hear knows i used to be thee tiesto whore, now i could careless about going to see unless you happen to play at space, but im sure your "too big" to play there anymore. your not bigger the musik, this concert concept is really taking away your credibility from the real EDM community. enjoy all your new poser fans.

I didn't read through the entire thread, but the whole "club concert" thing really makes me roll me eyes. oh, lets all stand there and watch some DJ mix audio cds and pretend he's Bono from U2. Hey, maybe people'll even tailgate before hand.

Trance Energy was more like an Ultra with everyone having 2 hour sets or so but the vibe was what made it incredible. I thought Ultra was OK, nothing special. Those festivals in Europe are just unreal, i want to go to everyone i can.

Me too! But there is no way I'd pay more than $35 for a ticket. So unless the price drops, tijs can forget my support.

As an enetertainer, you have to milk it while the you can. Oakie is now just starting to come around after being absent for a year or two.
