have you ever had one of those dreams where you are at some place you never been before, and meet someone you know you never met or seen before ?? :conf: :conf: ....

so this is what i dreamt last night ...

[crazy bullsh!t dream rant]
i am in a nice fancy restaurant with a group of people i never met before, and there was this nice chic i was sitting next to who is i guess presumably my girlfriend, because she is holding my hand and everything ... hahaha ...

well while we are eating and chatting, i notice this hot 30ish woman with hot brown hair sitting with us with another group of people that is not with our group .. i notice her, and my "presumed" girlfriend gets jealous of me looking at her, so she tells me she is uncomfortable me looking at the woman ... so i tell her i'm sorry ..

30 minutes pass (in the dream world, that's 5 seconds .. hahahaha ), and we finished our dinner and everything ... i have the urge to get the woman's phone number, so i "accidentally" become the trailer of the group, and give the silent motion to the woman for her phone number .. she gives me her business card with her office number and address and everything! .. i was like sh!t .. that's cool .. and the woman's name is nancy ..

the next day arrives (in the dream world, that's 5 seconds .. hahahaha) .. i "accidentally" arrive at her office building, and go to her office (her card says suite 531) .. i go to the 5th floor, and she has a secretary .. supposedly, no one can get passed the secretary, but i get passed her and tell her i have "an appointment" with nancy .. so i go to her office door .. knock on her door .. she opens it, and is surprised to see me ... she gives me a hug, and it's one of those tight hugs where she wants to wrap her body around my dick .. anyways, back to story .. i run my hand under her skirt, and she backs off, and calls me naughty ... ( ... :wtf: :nervous: ... ) ..

i ask her if she wants to go out for coffee and everything, and she says she has tons of work to do .. we chit chat for a while (don't know what we are jabbing about) .. and she goes in her office .. i go in the office with her .. she has a nice office .. very spacious .. we start jabbing a little bit more, and then she sits in her office chair, and starts to unbutton her blouse .. .. (u knew that was coming) ... we both get excited, and she stares me down .. just as i am getting closer .....
[/crazy bullsh!t dream rant]

i wake up ... damn it! ... i needed to take a piss .. so i take the piss, and go back to bed, and u know how it is .. you can't get your brain back to that dream world .. ...

so who has b.s. dreams they want to talk about ...????? that was one weird dream .. then again, i have the stupidest or weirdest dreams .. falling off buildings .. being chased by gangstas .. aliens .. the works ..

You're lucky. My dreams are never choerent at all. They usually go something like this:

I'm sitting in the living room, then I get up, but I realize I have no mouth, so I start screaming, after which giant purple octopusses appear out of nowhere, then I start floating in the air for no apparent reason, when a flying monkey comes by and eats my arms off... and then I wake up. :conf:

People are often really "other people" in my dreams. Like no one is who they are supposed to be anyway, and alot of the times I can see faces or remember faces.

yeah .. i get those dreams too .. my mouth is stapled, or my voice vocals are cut short, and i can't scream or talk .. those are the messed up ones ..

or when i am crossing the street, and just when i am done, the height of the street curb transforms from a 3 inches tall to 8 feet tall .. :wtf: .. so i try to climb the curb, but i have weights on my ankles .. and a big 18 wheeler is coming by .. just when the truck nears .... i wake up .. :wtf: :nervous: :nervous:

That kind of sounds like a typical nightmare. My dreams aren't scary though. It's like, I wake up in the middle of the night and I'm like "ok, what the HELL what that?" :p

The one I remember was from a while back around the time when I read up on lucid dreaming, esp, and stuff like that. My friend and I were in some other country hanging out at this metro area built into the side of a mountain and had tunnels and shops and stuff.

We met these two girls and just completely hit it off with them. My friend and his girl went another way while the other one, Catherine, and I went to play volleyball at the beach which was a few miles away but it only took 5 seconds to get there.

So evening came eventually and there was a fireworks show that we stayed and watched but then we had to part ways because I knew I had to get back, wake up, and get ready for school. I told Catherine that I wanted to get in touch with her again so we could hang out again. She offered me her number on a receipt of something and when she handed it to me, I looked at it and couldn't decipher the numbers. Remembering how the brain processes information while asleep, I requested that she just tell me her number.

me: I'm having trouble reading this, can you just tell me your number? I promise to remember.
C: Can't you read?
me: Yes, I can read but since my left hemisphere is asleep, my right one is having trouble making any meaning from the mechanics of what is percieved on this piece of paper. If you just tell me your number . . .
C: Wait! what are you talking about, left hemisphere is asleep?
me: You know. When you're asleep, the right one is more active because the left one works so much during your waking hours.
C: (?)
me: Okay, like right now I can feel myself starting to wake up, so you need to tell me your number.

At this point, you can "spin" yourself either on a horizontal or vertical axis and it will pull you back within the lucid dreaming state. So that's what I started doing. Spinning. On a vertical axis so it looked like a Michael Jackson spin and I did about 15 rotations in about 3 seconds.

C: What the hell?
me: You see? that's not normal. Stuff like this can only happen in a dream.
C: I know that! It just didn't know - - - (realizing that this is a dream)
me: This has got to be my best dream ever because of you and I want to get in touch with you when I'm awake.
C: ( completely speechless )
me: (thinking that I shouldn'ta said jack )
C: ( utterly disappointed and thinking that I'm still just a dream ) Goodbye!

So with that said, the connection just broke and the distance between us expanded so rapidly that there was no way of getting an axis to try my spin again. I let out a classic falling down:
"!!!!NOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooo............." as I snapped back into my body and woke up.
(props to you if you read this whole thing)

I never did run into her again - and never again have I tried lucid dreaming.

Wow, that sounds like a lot of coherency for a dream, not something most people have. When you say 30 minutes, how do you know? I don't think you do. Time is a concept that is very strange to quantify in dreams, ESPECIALLY if you happen to look at a clock.

I had this dream one time that I swore was real, where I was in love with this girl that I have never seen before. THen, when I moved to Canada, on my first day of school, I met her. Freaked the out of me. I've had that happen once or twice since then.

Maybe you're able to become lucid. Lucid dreaming is a state of dreaming that you can achieve during REM (rapid eye movement) stages of sleep (the stages where you actually dream). There is usually some kind of trigger in that dream (different for anyone, you can train yourself for it) that is very recognisable to you while awake. You'll recognise it in the dream, and realize it's a dream. if you're lucky enough to not wake up, it'll be like living in a world where you are omnipotent.

i then went off the ramp and began to plummet and right before i landed face first i woke up

got my adrenaline up... good way to start the day lol

Yes, I have... and then I end up meeting these people half the time. I'm not kidding. I'm like vrahnos, I see the future, sometimes even years in advance.

I've had dreams of being shot in the head by Osama bin Laden. I've had dreams of romancing my best friend (and she's a real hottie, too... most guys'd be drooling if they had those dreams about her). I've had dreams of nuclear fire and war. Of large fires in the Okanagan area of BC (and given what happened at Kelowna in '03, that still freaks me out to no end). Of being shot in the head and all it does is piss me off. Of being swept away in hurricanes. Hell, I even remember the names of most of the cities that have been nuked in my dreams... Chemainus (my old hometown, oddly enough :P), Vancouver, London, Amman, Bangkok, the list goes on.

I've never done Lucid before, but my dreams are always extremely vivid and I remember a lot of them very well (relative to a normal person, anyhow :P).
