As for referances, use your dads friends too. If the potential employer asks them, they can say you were employed for freelance work with their various companies. If you honestly believe that you'll benefit the place you apply to, then a little white lie works in their favor.
Here's my vent.
- I spent way too much money last weekend on parties ($350+ partying). It was worth it because I got to see my girlfriend, but damn did that leave a dent.
- My girlfriend lives too far :( That'll soon change though
- We had family stay over that took my room, and they just extended their stay by like a month. I ING HATE THE COUCH.

I knew a few Swedes when I lived in Saudi Arabia and they were the coolest dance music listeners back then when everyone was listening to Metallica (of course they listened to that too but I loved the European sounds they had in their house parties)...when are you coming out? |

Venting eh? Here's mine!
I made a comment to my financial planner last week that I love the bank and I've enjoyed their service....ever since then I've felt like a nobody and all the nice customer service I have been getting just stopped.
Both my old and new school haven't posted VITAL crap on the internet yet which I need to continue getting shyte ready etc etc.....oh and you know...one needs to post it so i can GRADUATE from them!
On top of that, I have been waiting on a few other things so I can go up to Shwa/Whitby to find a place to live. I wanted to have it done by now but since the bank and schools aren't helping me out here, I will postpone.
And on top of that, everyone but 1 person has backed out for Sasha/Lawler...if that gets cancelled...rrrrgh.:mad::mad:
Not that anyone is even going to read this, I just wanted to vent. But the silver lining is my Passport forms went way too smoothly yesterday!:D |

Last 4 weeks or so, I've been going to bed at 2-3am. Today, I had to wake up at 5am. My body doesn't like me much right now.
On other note, I may get a 2 month contract with army in beautiful Petawawa. Still touch and go, as far as I'm concerned because like all army stuff, it's not real until you're there and you've done it for a few days. *crosses fingers* |

Yeah im gonna rawk that party pretty hard :stongue:
but yeah, unsure if i ever will have the possibilty to party at a club here in canada :(
i could have went to Tiesto, but of course it was the same day as my ing graduation, so i guess i have to say bye to everyone and stuff, and then also it would be in the evening so i would miss the late train and i havent found anyone yet that wants to go with me... but if i do i would do it (although i heard tickets were almost sold out? : O)
oh well, hopefully i will get back to canada on some other conditions one day (ie not on a nazi exchange) and then i can experience you (seemingly) kick ass party life!!!! |

Well, I just got a call from work. They want me to go to Meaford like today. I said, uh, I have to pack. So I'm leaving tomorrow for about 2 months. Actually, I'm not even sure what I'm doing up there exactly. Gotta love army and it's hurry up and wait/last min stuff.
So, if anyone knows any good party up in that area, do let me know. :)

Meaford! OH GAWD... ya, your 30 mins apporx. just north of me here in Collingwood on hwy 26.
Dude, at Monsoon's in town, the manager there, my buddy Nathan (djn8goulet on TA) spins usually the middle friday of the month, and then both him and Matt tag team it for a MASSIVE end of hte month bash which is uber fun!
I will tell you dates, prolly he 15th and 20th of July. Just found out last night that Nate now spins at Indian Motorcycle club at the Mountain (Blue Mnt) on Sunday nights. Was there last night, it was dead, but it was just arranged on Sat. and therefore noone knew (not that there are alot fo tranceheads in c'wood anyways) and plus before the space used to be a louge environemnt, and therefore never open on Sunday nights.
I hope this takes off for nate. I love hearing trance in collingwood... its good for my soul!
