I like the stratosphere version better, the Hemisphere, is just too ethereal...

Really honest right there...hehe
But I gotta second him on that, I like Stratosphere better, Hemisphere is not my cup of tea, it doesn't sound like a dark trancer at all.
Now Stratosphere sounds too muddy... you still need to work a lot in this melody, but has better chances than hemisphere. |

The stratosphere mix
The arrangement needs more variation. Your typical output level is -5db, so the mix is choked to death.
All the parts need basic eq and compression. I suspect over-use of the channel faders here rather than using dynamics. |

..yeah i agree they need more work-the percussion needs sorting out on both mixes and i need to put more FX in to give more variation..the hemisphere mix isnt supposed to be dark trance but more my style of progressive trance under my alias Magdelayna...:) |

both versions need alot more work. dont know which one i prefer, probably the first version but it sounds like you just used the midis directly. keep working on it man.
gonna enter this meself, wondering if many others here are thinking of doing remixes, maybe could set a sticky thread for people to post their remixes to date or maybe theres one already and im just missing it??:crazy: |
