when i was talking to them i sed they shud be residents... one of them retorted with the phrase that made me jump about for the rest of the night... "Next year we will be playing here every month"
that, to me, sounds like GC have chosen their new resident(s)...
i think eddie halliwell will also jump on board, and DT, sorry mate, but if they get ferry corsten as a resident it will be poo cuz he'll neva turn up :p |

here are the comments of Random Bird on the crasher forums...
===========
I thought he played a really good set.
It was a shame that halfway through, some twat handed him a note which he
passed to me. Telling him he was and to f**k off. (Is that the sort of behaviour
of a so-called adult over 18?) Then we saw the guy with the t-shirt on, sitting on the
speaker, pointing to his shirt etc. Me and Beccy went to have a word with him, when
he was asking Jules to sign a t-shirt that said he was (?!?) and told him he'd
made his point and perhaps he could get out of his face now...the bloke still sat
there.
Later, Jules decided he wanted to go and look in the funky room for a bit, and the
bloke with the t-shirt CAME BACK OVER TO HIM, getting in his face again, so we
asked him if he'd leave Jules alone. After the altrication, Jules asked whether we
could go and find him cause he wanted to apologise. Which he did.
Upstairs he said he's used to being loved and hated, it's always been a part of his
career. And that at the end of the day, he's only a normal bloke and he lost his
temper. I think he was wrong to smack him, but I think the bloke was out of order in
the first place for winding him up not once but twice.

so, thats wot happened.. i still think jules was a twat, proffesional entertainers know they're gonna get some .. it'd be stupid if comedians kicked the out of their audience when they got heckled. |

maybe with all the bad vibe and hatered he's getting over there, maybe it'll force him to come over here to the states and just stick around here for a year ago... isnt that what oakenfold did when there was an uproar agianst him in the UK?
hey i dont mind i think the US would benifit from a DJ like judge jules... i know i'd definitley go see him. |

and these are the comments of the twat himself.. taken from his own msg board...

Jules here. Just to set the record straight, I did hit someone at Gatecrasher on Sat, which I'm embarrassed and ashamed of. The guy in question was wearing a tshirt with a slogan abusing me, and kept coming up to me pointing to it. When he came up to me for the fourth or fifth time over a three hour period I just snapped, and I guess he got the reaction he was looking for. Since I'm the dj that some people love to hate, normally things like this are water off a duck's back. It was just the persistent provocation that finally got to me. There's never any justification for lashing out, and I bitterly regret what I did, regardless of any provocation. It was a really good night at 'Crasher, and what I did spoiled what was otherwise a cracking evening. |

Hmmmm at least Jules admitted he was in the wrong, which many other "famous" ppl would NEVER do.
He is quite right, he is the DJ ppl love to hate, at least he knows that he wont be classed in the same leauge as Oakie.
When Jules is on form he kicks ass ! Qontact earlier this year he outDJed every other DJ there, produceing one of his best ever sets.
I still listen to that live set a lot :)
But when Jules is off form then he sux as he admits and credit to the guy for doing that.
Crasher has progressed a lot over the years and for a DJ of Jule's style, maybe Crasher has outgrown him and it needs a fresh face there.
To sum it up, Jules did what everyone of us would do if provoked, he hit back, that's always a mistake but it does not stop us doing it at the time.

yeah, when he's good he can be really, really good... but when he bad, he's a big stinking pile of cheese ridden monkey e...
apparently he actually played quite a good set at crasher on saturday, so there was no need to keep following him round telling him he was e...
if he had been e it would have been excusable.. but i still think jules was wrong to hit him... unless he said something REALLY bad that only jules and the bloke in question know about... in which case i'd let him off :) |
