JD sucks ass. If you want a good whiskey you need to go with a Rye.... Canadian Club is my whiskey of choice... or Alberta Springs Premium if you can find it.

They have Canadian Club in the UK. I doubt they would have Alberta Springs but they definately have Canadian Club. Try it some time... you'll never touch JD again!

Now how the hell can you be from the UK and not like Gin.... I thought it was the national beverage overthere..... seriously the only people I know who drink gin are English.

We here in the colonies drink anything because just like the rest of our traditions we simply incorporate what everyone else does into our own practices.

and as for gin being dry, that's pretty much why I don't like it, don't do those kinda drinks, also martinis and margheritas etc.

plus

equals.

Yum-yums in my tum-tum!!! TEHEHEHEHEHE>!

Me too, but I'm an alcoholic so I stick to beer these days. Not a hard bottle in the house... Alcies like me tend to drink hard liquor like beer with no problems, but that's exactly why we encounter these problems as a result...it's too good for our own good.

BTW, has anyone here ever drank a pint of Everclear (grain alcohol - 99% alcohol) and stood on their own hind legs? Homey here did it once in his lifetime after many tries where caboose hit him, but by god, I done it at least once. A real drinking feat....

:D
