Well let me tell it this way:. They look okay, but i find them waaaay to busy to use as a desktop wallpaper. Try using more friendly colors instead. |

Well, I'll put it this way.
Eo.S, the girl I did this with, made www.bungie.net from the bottem up for Microsoft. When was the last time you got paid about 100 thousand dollars so that millions of people would see something you made on a daily basses?
So, when it comes to digital visual art, and the application of color theroy, I think we have the right to at least call something Phat...
But I guess it could be to busy for you're tastes... You don't HAVE to use it as a desktop image, you just can if you like.
But thanks for the pointers...

Actually I don't think Microsoft likes that Bungie gets it's own webpage. (Instead of http://www.microsoft.com/games/default.aspx ) So it kinda was like peeing in there coffee. (Americans drink coffee not tea)
The Mircosoft people didn't like her, not much room there for pink haired independent artistic women apperently. But the Bungie people loved her artwork, and that was all that mattered. |

So are you trying to prove how your taste is so much better than ours and we are just too dumb to realize how awesome and phat these wallpapers are?
Anyway, I thought they were very psychadelic (and well done), but I wouldn't use them as my wallpaper. I prefer minimal and clean design, not something you experience on a LSD trip. |

hehe wow, thats quite some business then if you can earn thousands of dollars with it.
But idd, its just a personal taste. Its not to flame you or something. If i liked it i would have also said that to you ;).

Na, people can have there own tastes, having different tastes doesn't make someone dumb. What I was doing is called establishing crediblity. Because anyone can make a un-qualified remark on a message board, but not everyone gets paid well because other artists recognise there artistic refinement.
Well, I do work best when there is TUNS of things going on at once, all hectick and frantic ADD style. I guess maybe that shows in these.

best thing about artwork is you don't need credibility to create some phat art.
