Hi everybody.I'm going to buy a new PCI sound card for my PC and I'm a little bit confused between 3 different cards. Can anybody help me?

1.M Audio Delta 44
2.M Audio Audiophile 192
3.MiaMidi 24-96
No Left Turn
get the 44 if you're not planning on having any midi devices. but the audiophile will be better if you have any sort of midi device because it has 1 midi i/o.

M-Audio 1010LT is best bet if you can afford it! I have heard great things about this! Just bought mine off ebay brand new for 139... retail at 160 in the shops! A Banger bargin!

Ive just bought an EMU 0404 (US$80,00).

Good card, low latency (2ms on faster pc, 4ms if your pc isnt so updated).

Has 1 in/out analog, and 1 in/out digital.

Doesnt have Headphone outputs.

Has built-in digital effects (reverb, delays, etc), freeing your computer from those heavy vsts if you want (and if you like the onboard effects sound)...

Thanx all you guys for the advice.

I'm gonna check also the EMU and 1010LT.;)

Until now I'm thinking to purchase Audiophile 192 because of the midi I/O.

Have a look at this sound card test list http://www.pcavtech.com/soundcards/compare/

The Delta is in there and some others that might be of interest.
Click on the card and it will give you more details.

Hope it helps.

I read to a lot of forums that EMU cards have enough problems and I'm little bit cautius...:conf:

What kind of problems? Most people dont know how to configure the software to work with the internal effects...

The Audiophile 192 has midi sync problems too (that was my another option, like you), a lot of people in the forums say that...

How much US$ you like do spend on your card?

About 200-250$.And its true that most problems is about configuration.

Ive owned an M-Audio Firewire Audiophile... very professional (2 ins/4 outs analog)... Very good, almost zero latency, and its costing US$200,00 on Musicians Friend...

Anyway, its a headache choose a good sound card... :)

dont check the EMU:whip: ...you dont need to...i had an 1820 and i can tell you that EMU have the worst sound card and support ever.after 1 year of waiting for some stable drivers they released 1.7 vers ...and after 2 weeks they post on forum that the 1.7 it's quite buggy so they advice emu owners to go back on 1.6...M Audio Delta 44 it's a good choice but you will need to buy an MIDI device<=>Audiophile 192 it is much more cheaper and everybody is/was giving only good reviews.:conf:
