Sound Revolt: What’s the thing between you and the guys in Global Underground – you’re doing a 6th album for them.
Nick Warren: I was there from the start and I’ve always been a loyal person. They’ve been good to me and vice versa. Lots of artists have done the GU albums and then through the success of those albums they wanted to do it themselves but I’m perfectly happy with GU. And amazingly they asked me to do another one (laughs).

Sound Revolt: And what would you say to the people moaning on the Global Underground message board?
Nick Warren: Well... when you look at it. There’s about 6 people moaning on the message board and “Reykjavik” was sold in over 70 000 copies. So who’s right, who’s wrong? It’s a business. There are people on message boards who say “James Zabiela should have a Global Undergound album”. GU aim to sell over 50 000 copies and the truth of the matter is, that if James did a GU album it would sell under that number. It would mean loosing money and their business. And as for message boards. Once there was a guy who reviewed “Reykjavik” saying it was crap and three threads later he said he actually didn’t hear the album yet so...

Nick Warren will be playing in Reykjavík tonight and he told the promoter that "Don't Forget Me" will be the last WOW single for a while. He said that him and Jody would be focusing more on "more underground and more dirty" music. I'd like to know what he means by "underground and dirty". :)

Are you excided about coming to Skopje (MAcedonia) on July 30th? How is the southern-european crowd?

when someone on the GU board stated that Freeform 5 - Electromagnetic (Tiefschwarz Mix) was the track of the year he responded : "its good but if its the tune of the year then we are in a right sorry state , a touch of the emperors new clothes"
ask him what he thinks is the track of the year, and what he thinks about this whole "Electro" trend
