It has been a hectic week. My girlfriend's (Jenn) birthday was Thursday June 9. My birthday was Saturday June 11. I got engaged on Friday June 10.
Friday June 10 - as a part of my birthday plans for Jenn (which included a trip to Niagara-on-the-Lake's Queen's Landing Inn uber-suite, mega-dinner, horse carriage ride, etc) - I asked her to marry me. Fortunately for me, she said "yes" (after verifying that I wasn’t joking and that it was for real).
So - the next chapter begins. No wedding date has been set, no wedding planning has begun (yet). |
The first time my ex and I banged was on June 11, and we were to get married on June 8.

I KNEW there was a romantic story behind it!!! :D:D No need to hijack your special thread with my story; will have to tell you about it over drinks the next time we meet!!! I'm such a giddy school girl when it comes to these stories! ;)
I didn't think I'd have a plan for the wedding until much later but since last Christmas (when Jenny and I got engaged--nice name btw! ;)) I just can't wait for the moment so I think it's gonna be next summer! (originally thought of '07)

Just a stab in the dark, but why not refer to her as JENN? :p I like the word fiancee, though...so FRENCH! ;) tres sexy...
