and there is the debate. Is it ok for protection purposes? And then the next question is, what is 'protection'? The guys using it on the street could say, they were protecting them selves, because if he didnt shoot, the other guy would have.

It would be wonderful to be able to say, oh lets just get rid of them all, but we all know thats not going to happen now is it?

It all starts with one guy thinking he needs one, and then everbody has to "protect" themselves. Very slippery slope indeed.

Ya that is pretty freaky. I was 10ft away from the Hullabaloo stabbing at the Docks a while back. (The now aptly named stabbabaloo or muderbaloo).

I'm not sure what's more sad... the fact that someone got stabbed at this party, or the fact that all the ed up kiddies continued to dance IN A POOL OF BLOOD. :whip: :whip: :whip:

Maybe the word i shoulda have used is exhilirating. It got my blood pumping, and i felt alive for some reason.

Seriously, wtf is amusing by someone getting shot? Maybe had the bullet missed and hit you, or someone you knew you wouldn't find it so amusing.

Nothing was amusing about him getting shot. The way the crowd reacted and ran was amusing to me. While there was a fight still on, people wanted to enjoy the circus and egg the guys on...as soon as guns started blazing, people started ducking, faster then you can say duck sauce.

I haven't the faintest idea why the guy got shot, and quite frankly i don't care. Wrong place wrong time...or maybe he provoked it. I'm glad i'm not shaken up by it. This certainly isn't the first time i've been close to a shooting, and something tells me it won't be the last. Violence is a part of life, better to be aware of it and react calmly then get jittery like some people.

very true...its just human nature to be violent.

Its strange, when we say how out of hand violence is getting around the world, yet, we are probably living in one of the least violent era's. The only difference now is that we have ability to kill so many, so easily.

Historiclly, there have been far more wars in a given time period, but it required a lot of man power. Now we can just press a button.

Which one is better?

This would be a natural hormonal reaction. I've been there, it becomes a little bothersome after the fact that you feel really good despite the gavety of what happened.

Seriously. I knew after the shot went off and there wasn't a second one that the guy was still alive. I've seen a man get executed, had to run when two crews started a gun fight and was standing next to my friend when he got shot in the thigh from very close range. Now that will keep you up at nite, but this was like a bad rap video. The shooter aimed low and probably tried to get the victims leg. Like I said, i didn't see too much blood on the scene later so i'm not even sure if the bullet hit the guy or grazed him.

And hell yea I felt good. I was about 10 ft from the guy, and he coulda easily have been near me when the fight broke out. The minute you hear gunfire your natural instincts kick in and it's all about self preservation... the other guy, it's every man for himself.

It's definately a rush...no doubt about it. Everytime i've been involved with guns, it's given me a rush, and quite frankly i'd rather be amused by it all then turn bitch if you know what i mean. ;)

Toronto's such an unsafe city ! :haha:

Ummm...no it's not. Newark's unsafe, some parts of Philly are unsafe, Johannesburg is unsafe. Toronto's by far the safest city i've ever lived in.

Oh yea...i forgot. Hip Hop Bad, Hip Hop Evil ! :whip: :whip: :haha:

That's cause i haven't lived in Canada all my life...and yes, I have been exposed to some ed up . It has desensitized me to violent crines to some degree. I admit it. It's ed up...but then again, so is life (sometimes). ;)

gutshot...ouch. But he survived yes ?

Hope they find the shooter. I know all the bouncers had a look at him. He was standing 2 feet away from them.
