Graham & I got home yesterday after a 16 day stay in the Holy Land. It was the trip of a lifetime! Got to scuba dive with dolphins, saw enough desert to last a lifetime, saw a show (cirque du soleil-like performances), swam in the Red Sea, Dead Sea & Mediteranean Sea, got spa treatments, saw Israel top to bottom & all its borders, went thru the old city of Jerusalem, went to a party on a beach where Digweed, Offer Nissim & Simon Posford (of Shpongle) were playing, attended my brothers wedding, saw relatives I haven't seen in over 15-20 yrs, went to a cousins engagement, saw Marcus Schulz at the Dome & FINALLY met the Israeli TA's, met the Flash Brothers, saw Israel tie with Ireland on a huge screen in a park w/thousands of Israel supporters, hit up a few Irish pubs, saw a million HOT Israeli boys & girls, went to Gay Pride in Tel Aviv, attended an Israeli wine & cheese fest, Graham got stung by a jellyfish for the 1st time, shopped, saw loads of camels, turtles, peacocks, chickens & other aquatic wildlife, fed loads of homeless cats & dogs, ate like kings, drove among lunatic & impatient drivers without killing anyone (esp. the scooter people), went thru 3 rental cars & put on 2700 kms in the process. Leaving all that behind sorta sucks. Pics will be posted on travelninja.com in the days to come.
Glad we missed the sweltering heat wave here- little to no humidity while we were over there- only sun & heat.
I've been trying to catch up on the boards this morning, as we had little internet access while we were away. Looks like there's another wave of new members (where the hell do u all keep coming from?!?!), a lot of June B-days (Gemini's unite!), and a whole lotta good parties coming up. My b-day is this Sat. so lets hope the weekend is great.
Also, as of yesterday, the 'PICOTTO' license plates have been retired (something I shoulda done YEARS ago). My car is not the "Picottomobile" anymore. Lets hope this lifts the curse on my driving record. ;) I'm just another generic tag once again. |

No clue yet- this weather looks sorta iffy. If it looks like it'll hold up, we can have an afternoon BBQ in the back yard. Not looking for a big production (dont need all the work) but I'm open to suggestions.
Wouldn't mind hitting up the skybar Sat night, there's a Promise beach party Sun, and then Gielen that night. |
