Hi there,
I like the idea of an orchestra. Maybe more effects in the begining? - It just goes too fast from build-up to beat right now, maybe you should use a snare roll or something like that. And also try "giving away" parts of the rhythm as it's building up.
I also don't like the mixing very much, it seems like the kick is dominating all. Try raising the volume of the High hats and clap.
There's a lot to improve about this track, but the idea for the song is very good;)

Hey, I listened to your track Running up that hill. Sorry but I can't realy give any constructive feedback cos it's briliant. Well, maybe the bassline is a little simple but I reckon that's probably what you set out to do.
I realy need to get a new computer, it's a bit slow. And software, i'm still on Cubase VST5.0! And I use an MC-909 as a sampler which is a bit oldfashioned. I'm at the point now that I kind of decide to go for it or not I reckon.
Anyway keep doing what you do,

Hey, thanks man...
Don't worry, I've used different Cubase versions all the time. Starting from the very first 1986 release to SX, now.;)
You also can do great things with a sampler... I've to put all those sounds on a Cubase audio track:(

| Yeah, I got SX3 now! Don't like the phase where you still have to figure things out, on the other hand I'm very happy with it. Also USB-Ultra Focus, excellent plugin, just about every synth sound you'll ever want to create. |
