Help ! Apartment hunting

So our landlord has decided to sell the house and given us a month and a half before we're offically homeless. I've already began the process by checking out the classified and doing a few walk around, so i guess what i need from TOTA's is any info via (website/papers/agents) who can get a good deal on a place.

Looking for something downtown, hopefully close to Ryerson U...or a TTC.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks :)

Ps. I'm checking out some websites, but there are a few that require a subscription which makes me weary...sounds like a scam. Why would landlords post their apartment on a site that requires people to pay $39 for something they will probably only use once.

that's where karen and kelly found their place.

the first thing you do have to do is choose exactly where you want to live. Our area right now is really good and I see lots of opennings around here.
