i know! it was the smell of the guinness factory floating over my school during the day that put me off forever. the taste is already beyond gross but the smell added to it... GAH! My nostrils are forever traumatised. :( |

| In England they used to give you a pint of Guinness when you gave blood because of the high iron content. They still do this in Ireland. |

Good beer starts with an A and ends in an le.....
Take Keiths pale ALE for example, and 50 ALE...mmmmmmmm |

My old boss, who was straight from Ireland about 8 years ago, taught me that you don't drink Guinness like regular beers. You have to pour it to the back of your throat, in large gulps.
PS: Nothing beats a nice cold Steam Whistle on a hot summer day. NOTHING. |

Despite what it says on the label, Keiths is hardly an India Pale Ale.

Still really good though. |

Words cannot begin to describe.
I also have a soft spot in my heart for St-Ambroise Oatmeal Stout.
Sleeman Silver Creek, Duvel, and Kronenbourg 1664 all get honourable mentions...
Yes, I love beer. |

Honey Beer rocks but I miss the classics like Labatt 50 and Wildcat |
Oh gawd! This reminds of me of one particular cottage trip back in July of my Gr. 10 year... I was drinking freakin' WILDCAT the whole bloody weekend! WHY JAMIE WHY!!?!?!
And all my other buddies and kids up there were being jokes about how they were drinking nothing but Labatt 50 (prononuced "fity" of course)
oh gawd, that was a bloody ing fun couple days at Duff's Cottages! :D
