Hello Dickie, listening now.
The EQ is !!! Na, just kidding =)
I think the highs and mids need more boost. The main lead sounds a bit muffled. You need some harmonics in the midrange I think. If you can get your hands on Ozone ro something similar, it could do the trick. Try compressing/limiting it first and then adding an exciter over the top. While not exactly a good practice, somtimes that helps. The kick sounds a bit flat too. My kicks sound crap too though, so I cant help there.
I cant stand the sound of V-staion personally, like you say its such a cheesy synth. Every time I dial up a patch I just feel the need to gag or something. Having said that, a lot of people do good stuff with it, so I must be missing something.
As far as the track goes...the percs at the start are pretty cool. Melody isnt too bad either and is quite catchy and given the right patch I think it could work well. |

| I mainly agree with the previous post. It is a lil cheesy, and very ferryish. I think this could be a good remix if you worked on it a bit. But it seems like it needs more substance, sounds real old school |
