| Holy , if you think jules is bad then rip a set from armin van buuren. His track selection is sweet but my word this man can not in mix ! i ripped three setz from him, he in slamms the cross fader across and the songs change so sudden, i can hear the adjustments he makes with his fingers on the decks, an i discovered one or two trainwrecks....This man is is bad, i know you all love him but i am sure i can mix better in my bedroom !! hehe listen dude everybody has his own opinion but trust me , Armin is one of the best DJs ever (whether u like it or not) and no u can not mix better than him , Armin is waaaaaaaay better than u think .
I hope Wicked Neo will explain to you better than i did !!

Well... i've heard some of his sets and i heard a train wreck or two.hheeh..
But Armin is an exceptionally talented guy who can really play for the crowd...( and im not talking cheese either like julesy boy )
He is I think, the most humble DJ i've seen. Takes time to take photos with his fans.... smiles :D .
I just heard his set when he was at sonic state in Toronto, played some really good stuff....
And not 1 person was dissapointed! There were lots of glitches and but that wasnt his fault, there was a problem with the vestex he was on.
So maybe it was the hardware that caused him to screw up....
Most people who love his music style careless to analyze the technicalities behind it. So what if he does stumble now and then... I've seen Tiesto create a train wreck.... Does it mean he is a bad mixer?... No... maybe he got distracted by some good lookin chick:eyes: AHAHAHHa
I think your statement of him being an even WORse trance mixer is an incorrect one given that AVB does make great Trance mixes...
But then again... that's my opinion:toothless

sorry, but the laws of physics says that no-one can be worse than jules atm... never mind armin. ive neva seen armin (whch wil b changin in 2 weeks :p) but evry1 ive talked to about him say he's the dogz bollox and is god of DJing... now they wont all be lying will they?
btw, for jules haters... check out this thread... turns out he hit someone this weekend... unprofessional wanker that he is. |

your right burns
with alot of the tunes that he plays, the mixes should go alot longer.
And if you think his audible "fingers on the record" is bad, you should check out rank 1, it's audible in almost every mix he attempted, at least in the mix of rank 1 I heard.
but as a clubber, I'd rather listen to decent mixing with TOP TUNES over good mixing with sh*te mixing. |

| Yeah its pity as-well , the tunes this guy plays are un-real. I must have just ripped the worse 3 setz possible, never mind. Back to Judge jules, this guy is bad. For a pro DJ, i expect not to be hearing train-wrecks or just mixes that the tune changing so sudden and badly ! I respect Van Buuren for is hot track selections though ! Peace boys ! |

What's so bad aboiut Jules? He has spun two of the best sets I've EVER heard.. at Qontact in April and at Trance Energy in October.
Mario Piu really ed up at Trance Energy. His transitions were horrendous and he trainwrecked so bad about 49 minutes into the set he should have just left..but Jules kicked ass that day. I don't know what u crackheads are talking about. :p |

| jules ruled @ qontact. I have his trance energy 2k, qontact and gatecrasher SS 2k sets. te first two are awesome. the latter isn't so great, I Admit. I haven't heard a _terrible_ set tho.... |

| Every DJ screws up sometimes. It happens to the best of them. The top DJ's out there are not popular or ranked based on their mixing skill alone. There are many unknown DJ's out there that can mix better than AvB, PvD, Tiesto, and Digweed. What makes these big name DJ's popular are many factors including their production and track selection such as promos and white label stuff. They also had connections that got them to the top and helped them stay there. There just is not enough room among the top DJ's for anyone else and it is extremely difficult to unseat a Digweed or Jules. I hope you guys can see that there are many great local DJ's. |

Dont get me wrong...I hate Jules as much as the next guy...but I have to admit his set at Qontact was good. As for being better Armin...even if Armin train wrecks look at the productions he has under his belt the man knows how to make beautiful sounds. |
