Luke was entirely too much on the house side for me. He played an opening dj's style's set while in the headliner's slot. Honestly I thought it was really not anywhere near what his potential was. I saw him in LA and he tore it down with some dirty progressive, but toniight was just crap. He pretty much did the same mix over and over (bring in the new song with the fader all the way in, kill both basses, throw in a filter and when the filter effect was coming off he would throw in the full new bass line. It is an effective mix that has its time and place, but for every damn mix, it gets a little exhausting.
Anyways I thought it was alright, but not that great. |
