couldn't figure out which section this belongs in since it's kinda both DJing and production.
anyway, I've been meaning to get into harmonics and live production for some time now, but pretty much the only thing I know about it is a keyboard is involved some how. basically, I'm just curious about how keyboards are used with turntables. are sounds assigned to each of the keys to make a kind of drum machine, or are they just for matching the harmonics of a track played on the decks? also, if someone could recommend a solid keyboard to begin with it would be much appreciated. thanks. |
