DIMITRI NAKOV
Spun Records | Coast 2 Coast | www.spunrecords.org (Ibiza, Spain)
Dimitri’s work in the music industry started in promotions doing DJ, radio and press for Junior records, Massive Attack, Leftfield, FSOL, Underworld, Dimitri from Paris and many more. Dimitri’s studio experience also includes being Sasha’s studio assistant and also production manager for Roger Sanchez’s Narcotic Records (London 1995-6). Formerly at TIP World Records, Dimitri was the head of A&R and hand picking the artists for albums and singles releases. As a former TIP DJ and representative, Dimitri played every weekend and organized many of the TIP parties world-wide. He's headlined all the major psytrance festivals in recent years, such as Voov, Trancendence, Eclipse, Samothraki and Mt. Fuji. Dimitri often plays on three turntables in front of massive crowds and is widely referred to as the top psytrance DJ in the world. Dimitri, along with Deedrah and The Antidote form the group "The Good The Bad and The Ugly." He's also collaborated with Astrix, GMS, Talamasca, Hallucinogen and Wrecked Machines. Because of all these reasons, Dimitri has been capulted this to the forefront of the psytrance genre. His schedule regularly has him traveling from South America to Europe and Asia, so don't miss this rare chance to see this global traveler.

Heh. Thanks :)
I've been djing since 1995, but I used to go by another dj name. Took a few years off, reinvented myself and rethought my motivations.
I'm just working my ass off, had alot of help from some good people (buzzlife especially) and had some good luck. |
