Fullmoon party in Thailand.......?

I am planning to go to Thailand in the fall.
I plan on going to one of the full moon partys. I was reading that the island in which these are are held is swarming with cops, uniform and undercover. But I also read that there are other islands in which these party's are held, that don't have the strong police presence. Does any one have any idea's or suggestions? |

| ya they say the best place to go is Koh Phangan -- I think im gonna go over to Thailand next winter and I definitely wanna check that out. |

| my brother went a few years ago. He said it was alright. He said people got really messed up on the drinks there because the alcohol has amphtamines in it. People got arrested and had to pay a lot of money to get themselves out of trouble. |

| I lived in Thailand for 1 1/2 years. I might be able to help you out on some things. But I've only been to Koh Phangan once. It rained and they played really cheesy commercial house/trance. It was mad fun though but you need a group with you. I know more about Bangkok and some surrounding islands like Phuket, etc. Hit me up and we can talk more if you want. |
