Rendering loop in Logic 5?

Hello,
Is it possible to render a perfectly looping WAV in logic 5? I didn't see any looping options in the bounce window.

TIA
hey cheggy
Why don't you just join lots of the same sound together at the BPM you want and then export that, or are you trying to export a loop with loop markers on it for samplers?

yeah man, just set the loop up, solo the track and bounce :D
Phantax
in the arrange page...top left hand corner...no?

...but what if the midi note plays over the end of a midi part, which happens almost all the time. Logic doesn't seem to have option to wrap that extra part to the beginning, like you can in ableton.

set the markers over 2 loops of the same.. then u use the second part of the loop and copying that forward..

Ok, but then how do you just use the second part?

cut the file in half and paste the second part?

hehe, makes sence. However, is there some quick and accurate way of cutting it in half?

I just tried following your solution.

This is what I did:

1) I rendered two cycles of the midi part
2) Imported this rendered WAV to the arrange window.
3) Using the scissors tool in the arrange window, I cut this WAV in half
4) I deleted the first part and only left the second part.
5) I turned the Loop mode on for this second part to make it loop.
6) WORKS PERFECT, WITHOUT ANY GLITCHES!!!

Now, I was wondering if the scissor tool always snaps to the grid? I thought maybe I was lucky that I cut it so pefectly.

If this technique is prooven, then we can say that Logic 5 has looping options similar to Ableton Live hehe

With shortucts this procedure is very fast, even faster then in ableton live because you have the option to automatically import the WAV when it's rendered.
