The difference between trance and uplifting trance can be discussed forever cuz I think everyone has their opinion about it! My opinion as a dj is that uplifting trance is the sort of trance that has a lot harder take off! People respond more psychotic to it and let's them get more carried away! A typical example in my eyes is Apoptygma Berzerk - Kathys Song or Pulp Victim - The World!
These songs are songs that people cant's really help for but to take off to! Uplifting trance is more happy trance and not the sort of trance that I would combine tiesto with which is more pure trance and is nice to dance to, but you don't take off to it! Corsten make good uplifting trance, Solstice is beyond uplifting trance! It's the biggest tune EVER! So uplifting trance is hypnotic in a good way, the right way! :) In my opinion anyway! So find your sort of uplifting trance! Halcyon! |
